Hello,

My name is Wylie Thomas and I develop web apps for a living. This app came to be as a result of my oldest daughter (11) wanting an iPod. After some negotiating we made an agreement. I would get her the iPod if she learns some basic programming in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Nothing intense, just an understanding of how these 3 lanuages are used to build web pages. And she has to help me build an app.

She came up with the idea and the logo. I put it all together. During the process she would sit next to me while I wrote the code and explained what was happening. Then I would give her "homework" to do. In a few short weeks we had the app done and she had her iPod.

We use this app almost every day in our house. We hope you can help your kids reach their goals by using ChoreApp to track allowance.
